ITMO University is looking for researchers for short-term research collaboration. Micro Fellows are expected to conduct research and consult students with the end goal of publishing a scientific article in a high-ranking journal. The Micro Fellowship track aims to make science global and provide a unique experience to ITMO students via the international exchange of knowledge.
Micro Fellowship
Contract period:
1 month (with possibility of subsequent application for a long-term track)
Format of work:
One-time visit to ITMO (mandatory)
Publication requirements:
A paper in a Q1/Q2 journal with SJR > 1

Remuneration:
170,000 RUB* + coverage of visa and travel expenses**

Eligibility
- PhD holders (or equivalent). For holders of a Russian PhD, international experience at world's leading universities is preferred
- H-index of 5 and above OR at least 4 articles in Q1-Q2 journals in the past 2 years
- Assistant, associate or full professor position (or similar) at one of the world's leading universities preferred
- No prior ITMO University employment/collaboration historyAll aforementioned criteria are preferable, but not mandatory. Outstanding applicants with other professional achievements supported by extra documents are also welcome to apply.
Expected Results (KPIs)
- Number of publications (in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals):No less than 1 in collaboration with ITMO researchers (young scientists, PhDs and MSc preferred), to be submitted within 8 months from the start of the fellowship.
- Cumulative SJR of the publication with the single affiliation of ITMO:No less than 1
- Open lectures or seminars for students and staff:At least 2
